Grocery Shopping Savings Apps!
Before you head to the grocery store, check out all of the sale papers which you can view online so you know what is on sale and then look for your coupons to pair with the sales to get the most bank for your buck. My local store is Shaw's and Market Basket. I also look at Target, CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens. I print coupons out when I see them and hold onto them for sales, so having an envelope of them helps keep them all in one place and easy to grab.Ibotta
Get cash back every time you shop on select purchases made at participating stores. You scroll through all of the offers on ibotta, click the store you will shop at, then you will see all of the items that are giving cash back. Once you find an item that you will be purchasing, click on it, "unlock $.25 Cash Back", then you will need to watch a quick video or not, then click "Unlock $.25" once again. After you have purchased, then you go into the app, go to Unlocked Rebates and click on each one individually. It will have you "Verify Purchase", then scan the product, then make a copy of your receipt. You are guaranteed to get your money into the Ibotta account within 24 hours. It is so easy and if you are buying the product anyway, do this and bank up some cash! If you link up with your facebook friends then you are eligible for more money back as they use it too. Also, keep in mind you can use manufacturer coupons on your purchase and won't affect your cash back. You can cash out at $20.00 for Paypal, venom or gift cards. Shopkick
Shopkick is a free location-based shopping app that gives you rewards for just walking into their store, scanning products and signing up friends (you get extra kicks for signing people up). You can also make even more rewards for linking your credit card with the app and all you have to do is make the purchase from the store and it will automatically give you the rewards. First thing I do when I'm at home is open the app, then I click on products. I click in each of the sections and view the items and some will have special reward points or videos to watch for points. It's good to play with the app to see how it works and what it offers. So, when you enter a store, make sure the app is opening and upon entering the store, it will trigger kicks (aka rewards) to your account. Your kicks bank in your account and you can redeem for a variety of gift cards or donating to the Feeding America or Red Cross Fund. Here's your chance to donate to a charity! :) My referral link http://get.shopkick.com/indio5438
Target Cartwheel
Target has their own app and this is one of the best apps especially for those that love to shop at Target. This app has offers anything from electronics, to food, to beauty products. Look at the offers and put them in your virtual cart. Then head to the registered and have them scan the barcode in your cart. It will give you the percentage off that the offer is for. Also, Target has a policy where they will accept one manufacturer coupon, one Target coupon (printed from their website or one that came in the mail) and one Cartwheel offer per each item that you purchase. What a way to really get a savings on your purchases. This is a MUST! Sign up!! cartwheel.target.com
Shaw's My Mixx App
Sign up for My Mixx through Shaw's with your phone number. Here you can view their weekly ad, locate stores, use on-line coupons, create a shopping list and more. In the coupon section, "clip coupon" for all of the items that you want to use that coupon with. Then just as you are checking out be sure to give the cashier your phone number or enter it into the checkout terminal. This is the only way to get to use the coupons. Remember, you then can use Ibotta and Checkout 51 to make more money if the items are the same. Always good to do your research before you head out shopping.
CVS Pharmacy App
Sign up for their extracare Program, then download their app. You can refill scripts, shop, check out the weekly ad, view your extracare deals and rewards and much more. When you purchase a deal that gives you extra care bucks, I usually use those bucks the next week on another deal that gives you bucks that is on sale. It's called rolling your bucks. There is so much more on the internet on how to shop at CVS that will be helpful for you if you are wanting to do this.
Rite Aid App
Rite Aid has a Plenti Wellness program that you should sign up for. You use your card and get points for certain purchases. Then you can use the dollars from those points to use at the cash register another time. The great thing about the Plenti card is that you can also get discounts from many other companies out there - for example AT&T offers discounts if you have them as your carrier so I contacted AT&T and gave them my Plenti card, it gave me a discount and points on my Plenti card. Win, win!
Walgreens App
Sign up for Walgreens Balance Rewards program and then download their app. This is very similar to Rite Aid's program where you get rewards for certain purchases to use at another time. Again, they have a great app to refill scripts, shop, locate stores, etc.
