Favorite Highlighters from Drugstore to High End

Highlighting and Strobing have been the hottest thing the past couple of years.  I wanted to share my favorite drugstore highlighters and high end ones.  I will dedicate another blog post to how to highlighter and where the best places on your face.

Drugstore Favorites

Wet n Wild

MegaGlo All-In-One Highlighting Stick in Marigold Round.  It's a multi purpose stick for eyes, lips, face and body. This color is more of a creamy pearlescent and shimmery.  These are sold where Wet n Wild products are sold, usually Walgreens or Rite Aid for $3.99.  Buy them soon as they are limited edition.

I also have and love the stick in Light Up My High-biscus.  This one can be used on a highlighter or even a blush. This is more peachy color with shimmer - beautiful! This one makes for a beautiful lip as well.

Hard Candy

So Baked Bronzer in Tiki.  This is so light that it is used as a highlighter.  It is gold as a baked bronzer but has a light champagne tone and dewy. It is very pigmented and works well on fair tone and dark toned skin.  Hard Candy has reformulated the highlighter so it's more on the pink side now. You can purchase it at Walmart for $9.

There are so many drugstore options for highlighters that I don't personally used but hear great review about so before buying check out online reviews or go into the store and swatch the colors themselves unless it is drugstore as they do not have samples out.

High End Highlighters Worth the Splurge

Becca

Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Champagne Pop.  It is the perfect highlighter with soft white gold with pinky peach undertones. A cult favorite! $38 hefty price tag but worth it.

Clinique

Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight which is an oil-free stick and comes in a satin finish.  It has a very light pink tone and is subtle.  It is buildable and beautiful on the skin. Nice just to have a stick you can just throw in your purse for those touch up moments. $22

Benefit Cosmetics

High Beam Liquid Face Highlighter with a satin pink liquid highlighter for a subtle glow.  Retails for $26. This was the first highlighter I ever purchased and still my favorite.

The Balm

Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter and Shadow is a honey hued luminizer.  Makes your skin so dewy and shiny. $22

Ways to Make Money Just for Sharing your Opinion:

There are many websites out there claiming that you can make money just by taking surveys but not all of them are official or on the up and up.  Here are the websites that I use to make extra money either by reading their emails, doing surveys or by watching videos.  These are ones that I currently use now and are not scams.  Completely legitimate!  There may be a couple that I will attach my referral link too, please feel free to use it, but not necessary. But that is not the point of this post it is how to make money for you!!! Every site is different for their rewards, some offer cash, paypal, checks, gift cards and even charity donations.  I'm talking Amazon, Starbucks, Target, I-Tunes, Paypal and so many more.

MyPoints

This is where they email you surveys, emails that you just open and click "Get Points" and you can shop through to earn more points (like ebates).  You can also download their search engine get points by searching and browsing the internet.  You can print coupons and redeem them for points or even play games.   I only use it to do surveys and open emails.  I have been a member since 2008 and have made $335. www.mypoints.com
My referral link:  https://goo.gl/BcPzNN

Tellwut

This is a fairly new site for me but they have a ton of surveys available.  They offer even more points if you do some of their special offers. www.tellwut.com

Toluna

A fairly new site for me too but a ton of surveys that will keep you busy for sure. You can also test products, participate in online discussions, polls, battles and check out their sponsored content.
www.us.toluna.com

InboxDollars

You can make a bunch of money here by doing their surveys, their offers (just be careful not too do any offers that you have to join something like a monthly subscription where you get rewards for it but it is defeating the purpose of making money, just do the free ones.), do surveys, deals, watch videos play games and a lot more that I have not explored.  www.inboxdollars.com
My referral link:  http://www.inboxdollars.com/?r=ref11612885&s=7

Ipsos-I-say

One of my favorite sites.  Surveys and product testing.  Love it! www.isay.com

Value Opinions

Another favorite of mine.  Surveys - another $20 Amazon gift card on the way to my email.  Took less than 5 mins to hit my email.  www.valueopinions.com

MyView

Surveys for points for gift cards! www.myview.com

Opinion Outpost

Again, another long time favorite of mine and very reputable. www.opinionoutpost.com

e-Poll

Love this site for surveys!  www.epollsurveys.com

Swagbucks

The biggest and the best for last!!  Swagbucks gives you bucks that you accumulate into rewards.  I use their search engine as my home page on internet explorer and use that all day long.  I also do their daily polls and the daily offers.  Check your swagbucks inbox for more opportunities for bucks.  You can do so many things on swagbucks - make purchase through them, watch videos, surveys, discover special offers, play games and even download their app on your phone. Occasionally they come out with swagcodes but not as much as before.  This is a must have to make money. www.swagbucks.com

TGIF!  I was kind enough to get the opportunity to test out a product for free and I wanted to share my experience with you as this might be on the pricey side but I found it to really work, it's amazing.  These are my own opinion and is not sponsored in anyway.  My eyebrows have never been that amazing for growth.  They have been thinned out in certain areas and really needed some growth and TLC.  I tried a product called RevitaBrow Advanced, which is a eyebrow conditioner claims to help protect against breakage, brittleness, flexibility, moisture and shine for bold, beautiful brows.  I'm a skeptic by nature but I figured what the heck.

I was instructed to make sure that I did my normal face routine of washing and then use the RevitaBrow on my eyebrows once a day. It dries very fast and you are still able to use your brow makeup.  The first few weeks I didn't notice a change at all.  I would say by week 5 I started to notice that they become fuller and more bushy (god I hate that word).  By the end of the trial which was 56 days I noticed a huge difference in my brows.  Below you will see the before and after, as you will see they are messy but very full.  I had not trimmed them up which they do need to be shaped and framed for my face.

Pros:  A couple of things I liked about the RevitaBrow Advanced Conditioner was that it was made of natural ingredients including blends of biotin, green tea extract, peptides and lipids. It is also made with Calendula and plant extracts Swertia Japonica & Panax Ginseng which are high in antioxidants and Vitamin B.  It has a doe-foot applicator allows for easy, fast and precise application.

Con with a twist: Pricey to purchase from RevitaLash.com directly but it appears that Amazon sells them right directly from RevitaLash.com.

If this is a product that you need, then it is definitely worth checking out Amazon and if you use Swagbucks, save up your bucks and redeem them for Amazon gift cards. :)

I have attached my affiliate swagbucks referral link if you are interested in signing up.  I have been a member since 2009 and have redeemed $660 in Amazon gift cards. No lie, I love Swagbucks!
