Just an FYI on this coupon: The $10 in-ad coupon is a Shaw's Q. That means that you can use other MQ's along with it. The fine print is a little tricky and different than what we normally see. What does that mean? Well, if you are going to do this deal, you must have your total of GM products be $25 after mfr coupons and after sale prices to use the $10 in-ad SQ. Example: Buy 20 items at $50 and use 20 various MQ's totaling ~$21.50. Your total after MQ's would be $28.50, then you could use the SQ to make it $18.50 for $50 (sale price) in product.

That comes out to $.925/item. Not a bad deal, but you can get better. Depending on your Q's, you may be able to get closer to $25 before using the $10 in-ad SQ, which is fine as long as you meet the 2 requirements mentioned on the coupon itself (and stated above). (taken from hot coupon world)

The Month of HELL

I have been dreading the month of February for fear of the Flu.

Feb 2007 - Jeff, myself, Sidra and my mom all came down with the flu! It was the worst not being able to stand up and throwing up and diarrhea and trying to take care of a 10 month old at the same time. I remember laying on the futon on our 3rd floor and Jeff laying on the floor. We were so weak! We put Sidra in the pack and play and put her right in front of the tv. She was sick too but no where near as sick as we were. That was one of the worst weekends.

Feb 2008 - Sidra got the flu first and boy was she bad. She had the cold and the stomach thing. All she wanted was Mommy so for days I laid with her on the couch. I actually took her to the drs for fear she would get too dehydrated. I should have taken her to the ER to get an IV but I thought that would freak her out even more so we stuck with trying to force the fluids in her. Jefferson, Jeff and myself got the flu as well but I would say Sidra was by far the worst.

Feb 2009 - Sunday night it happened - Sidra was so sick and threw up a million times. She was afraid to throw up but I got a bucket to make it easier so she wouldn't feel bad. She is still under the weather but now Jeff and Jefferson are sick. It's 4:30am now and I just had to strip Jefferson entire bed and bumper and its washing now. I'm really worried that I'll be next - this thing spreads like crazy. Jeff will be home sick today, poor guy - he was so bad last night!

Well that's my story so if I'm not updating its because I'm either sick myself or attending to sick people. Blah!

Brilliant I Tell You!

We watched The Wrestler the other night - OMG! Mickey Rourke does an amazing job as The Ram. It starts off a little gritty but it really gives you the feel for what the wrestlers go through and just the overall story of The Ram. Trust me I'm not one of those huge wrestlers fan, actually I don't like it all but Mickey Rourke does an amazing job.

Stink Rag

Here are updated pictures of Jefferson. He is in love with his "Stink Rag." It's really just a little blanket square but he sucks on it all the time so we constantly have to wash it. He is so cute with it running around with Gandma playing with it and playing peekaboo. You can click on them to enlarge. I'm putting them from photobucket so that's why they are small. I don't like that. Enjoy anyway.

Last Week

Last week was pretty hectic with all of the Gymboree Sales and my obsession with it. I got a lot of clothes for Sidra for next summer and some for this and next winter too. She is stocked up for this summer already except for a few play shorts and pjs. Jefferson is in need of clothes for sure for the summer so I'm off to look for some more sales.

Took Sidra to the mall on Friday and she was in her glory. Road the carousel, ate in the food court and then surprised her with a trip to Build a Bear. It was our first time making one and she was so cute. She picked the one she wanted immediately and named it Teddy Girl. She loves it! We even printed a birth certificate for the bear.

Otherwise things are getting organized at home - I'm redoing the entire linen closest which is taking me a while. I'm trying to get us ready to put our house on the market but I have such a long way to go. The closet is half way done - now I just need to weed through my stash and put some in the basement to store for our use and to put in our yard sale in the Spring.

Plus, made a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and double blueberry muffins - so good!!
